Glassboro council adopts four ordinances, approves consent resolutions and routine bills

The ordinances adopted as part of the public hearing included Ordinance 24-30 (adopting a redevelopment plan for Block 361, Lots 5 and 5.03), Ordinance 24-31 (amending vehicles and traffic provisions for stop and yield intersections), Ordinance 24-32 (no-parking schedule changes), and Ordinance 24-33 (an amendment to the borough rental housing chapter). The council opened the hearing, heard no public comment, and moved to adopt the ordinances as written; the roll call recorded an abstention specifically on Ordinance 24-31. “Motion carries,” Mayor Wallace said after the vote.
Separately, the council approved the consent agenda for resolutions 290–293 and 295–300; Resolution 294 was tabled for future consideration. The borough solicitor presented the consent block and council voted by roll call to approve the listed resolutions as they appear on the agenda.
Council also approved the minutes of the Oct. 22 regular meeting and the closed executive session minutes from the same date. The council moved and seconded the minutes approval and carried the motion.
During the meeting the council moved to approve all duly authorized bills. The clerk recorded several abstentions on specific purchase order numbers; the motion to approve the bills passed with those abstentions noted.
