Select Board approves local business licenses and routine town items

The Falmouth Select Board approved several routine licenses and administrative items during its Dec. 2 meeting.
Following staff recommendations and departmental reviews, the board approved a secondhand dealer license for Flying Bridge Marina LLC (250 Scranton Ave.), with owner Mark Bogosian explaining the business will operate across multiple New England locations and store some boats on site seasonally. Bogosian said the legal description for secondhand dealer licenses in state law can be confusing for boats but that the business model is consistent with local practice.
The board also approved a common victualler license for Cravings Pizza and Ice Cream LLC doing business as Simply Divine Pizza, pending the usual health inspection and subject to standard conditions, and approved a change of manager for the Cape Cod Club following a background-check review of the proposed new manager, David Hamill.
Board members moved and approved a consent agenda that included multiple administrative orders, petitions for underground conduit and manhole work tied to utility projects, acceptance of a modest donation to the Bike/Ped Committee, and authorization for conservation-restriction paperwork. All consent-agenda items were approved by voice vote.
