Board hires RSP & Associates to study district enrollment trends

The Council Bluffs Community School District board voted to hire RSP & Associates to carry out an enrollment analysis after hearing community concerns about declining student numbers.
Superintendent Doctor Morello explained the firm will evaluate historical enrollment data, birth rates and housing trends to forecast district enrollment for the next five to 10 years. The district previously worked with the same vendor in 2012, producing a report administrators said informed past planning.
Administrators said the final report will be made available to the public and that district staff will likely present findings to the board and community once the analysis is complete.
