Neighbor disputes fence and access while county awaits survey for road closure decision

One resident said survey pins were still present despite some markers being run over; another participant said a survey company advised the new owner not to erect fences until the county receives the survey and determines how to provide access.
County staff explained the county maintains a 50‑foot easement for the road; once the survey is filed and reviewed by staff (including the road boss), the county will mark the easement and ensure the landlocked property owner receives access. The commission heard no motion to close the road during the meeting and did not adopt any final decision while the survey remains outstanding.
