The LAC moved and approved the December meeting minutes as recorded (motion made by Erica; voice vote recorded with ayes and no abstentions). The council then voted to recommend two applicants—Rebecca (referred to as Rebecca/Rebecca in the meeting) and Brooke—for appointment by the county commissioners; those appointments will be considered by the commissioners at an upcoming Tuesday meeting and, if approved, the applicants will be voting members at the LAC’s February meeting.
Erica reported that Denise assembled roughly 70–80 mental‑health packets and distributed about 40–50 to local health sites, the urgent care, and the high school. Color brochures for the drop‑in center were printed with Rebecca’s assistance, and more 988 cards were en route from the state contact Carlton Ross.
The council confirmed the next meeting date as Feb. 20, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Rebecca moved to adjourn and the meeting ended at 5:44 p.m.
