Council members queried a $2,200 line item payable to Saint Peter's Marketing Group. Staff explained the payment covers rebuilding the town website after a security breach, moving the site to a .gov domain and creating new town emails on the rockvilleutah.gov domain to improve security. "That's for updating our website, because we found that we were hacked," the chair said.
Council moved and approved the expenditures and then approved the November financial statements by roll call. During administrative reports, members also discussed a maintenance‑building insulation‑spray bid that appeared to include a $10,000 additive; the council agreed to ask the contractor to reduce the amount but indicated the town can pay the higher amount from road funds if negotiations fail.
