The Willard City Planning Commission opened and closed a required public hearing Nov. 21 on proposed updates to the city’s subdivision regulations (Willard City zoning ordinance, chapter 12‑400). Maddie, city staff, told the commission the revisions stem from state requirements and that this meeting was the mandatory public‑hearing step. There were no public speakers during the hearing and commissioners moved to close the record.
Commissioners acknowledged they had reviewed the materials in advance and thanked staff for the presentation. The public hearing will accompany the ordinance update as it moves through the city’s adoption process and any final changes will be reflected in the City Council packet for final action.
