During public comment, Unidentified Speaker 10 expressed concern about lost play space for younger children if the older set is removed and offered to pursue potential donor matches; the speaker estimated a replacement cost of about $45,000 and asked the council to commit to seeking funds for a playground designed for small children. Councilmembers agreed to consider funding options and to require that any sale be “as-is” with the purchaser responsible for removal.
