North Logan council approves boundary adjustment with Hyde Park

North Logan City Council voted Nov. 20 to approve a boundary adjustment plat with neighboring Hyde Park for the area near 3100 North and 12 East. City staff explained the change implements a roughly 30‑year agreement that aligns the boundary with 3100 North so that the north portion of a subdivided parcel will fall under Hyde Park and the south portion will remain in North Logan.
No members of the public spoke on the boundary adjustment during the council’s public hearing. The council’s motion to approve the boundary adjustment plat was made by Emily and seconded by Joanie; the motion passed unanimously.
Staff said the next step in the process is submission of the plat to the lieutenant governor’s office for the formal boundary adjustment.
