Minutes: The chair moved to accept the 6:00 meeting minutes and later the regular city-council minutes; roll-call confirmations recorded affirmative responses from council members during both votes.
Bills and purchasing: Staff presented a condensed purchasing summary and a packet of supplementary bills (the packet noted a line showing $2,021,000 associated with sewer maintenance in the distributed materials). Council members asked staff to check a few line items (including an item referencing an IRS payment), then moved and seconded a motion to pay the city bills; the motion carried on recorded voice votes.
