The Emigration Canyon Planning Commission approved its November 2024 meeting minutes and accepted a proposed schedule of regular meetings for 2025 during the Dec. 12 session. A commissioner moved to approve the minutes and another seconded; the commission voted in favor and the motion passed. Later in the meeting staff (Wendy) presented the 2025 meeting calendar and the commission voted to adopt that schedule. Staff said calendar invites will be sent and the dates will be posted on the Utah Public Notice site.
These were the only formal votes recorded during the session; substantive ordinance matters discussed in depth (bonding, retaining walls, drainage, trails, tree protections) were left for further technical review and no ordinance text was adopted at this meeting.
Next steps: administrative staff will distribute the 2025 invites and post the schedule publicly; the commission will continue technical review of the FCOS draft at upcoming meetings.
