Town staff reported that the Utah Office of Energy Development intends to award Bluff $27,825 toward replacing fluorescent lighting and fixtures in a town building. The award will fund upgrades in the senior center, bathrooms and utility closets, with completion planned in 2025, and a Rocky Mountain Power partner will perform required energy audits this Friday.
Staff said the grant supports the town—s broader efforts to improve building energy efficiency and noted another pending CCC grant decision expected by Dec. 15. Council members thanked staff for documentation and timely submission and asked staff to post documentation and project updates to the town website.
No formal vote was required for the notification; staff will continue project steps, secure contractors and complete audits needed to finalize the award.
