Town council update: audit clean, UDOT trail grant approved; council hires and studies planned

UDOT trail network and grants
Hook summarized a large trail project proposal overseen by the Utah Department of Transportation’s Utah Trail Network. She said the project would create an interconnected trail network and described funding commitments heard by the council: “the match, 3,000,000 from UDOT, 9,000,000 from the feds,” and said design and RFP work could begin in mid‑2025 if federal approvals return as expected.
