Council adopts revised golf‑course fee schedule with phased increases and early‑purchase discounts

Key changes approved in Resolution 1292024B include early‑purchase pricing for single, couple and senior passes (discounted rates if purchased by Dec. 31 for the subsequent year), a clarification of business passes (business pays an upfront fee and additional employee passes cost extra), and an escalator that raises the cart stall lease from $160 to $200 for March–October and from $80 to $100 for November–February in 2025 and again in 2026 as specified in the resolution. The council asked staff to provide cumulative season‑pass sales for 2023 and 2024 to evaluate the effect of the incentives.

Council Member Cox moved to approve the resolution and Council Member Skeena seconded. A roll call vote recorded approval with the council members voting yes (names recorded in the roll call). Council members also discussed junior pass pricing (age 11+) and application of the Beaver card discount for youth passes; the resolution incorporates a $90 discounted junior rate for qualifying purchasers if purchased by Dec. 31 for the subsequent year.
