Commissioner Sean Harvey briefed the Huron City Commission on a package of departmental updates Nov. 17 covering code enforcement, planning, police and fire services.
Harvey said code enforcement has posted approximately 350 properties year-to-date for nuisance issues, including junk, overgrown vegetation and unlicensed vehicles, and that staff are prioritizing tree and yard cleanup before winter. He said rental property inspections will begin soon and should take three to five months.
