Committee participants described an upcoming public forum to introduce the new superintendent and confirmed broadcast arrangements for the meeting.
Speaker 3 said the forum was intended "for an opportunity for members of the RTC, DTC, and general public to get to know the superintendent" and reported the session is expected to start around 6:15 p.m. "It's at 06:15," Speaker 3 said when asked about the start time. Speaker 3 also said she was in a basement location at the forum site and noted acoustic concerns: "I am in the basement, but I've seen a couple people shuffle in. I just know how echoey this building is," she said.
Speaker 1 had opened the committee meeting by listing livestream and rebroadcast platforms for the session: HPA TV on Comcast and Frontier government channels, hpatv.org, the HPA TV Facebook page, Roku/Apple/Amazon TV apps and the HPA TV YouTube channel. Committee members apologized to HPA TV for setup issues during the Nov. 19 meeting and said they would follow up on distribution and scheduling details.
No formal decisions about the forum were taken by the committee during the Nov. 19 meeting; members described the forum location and confirmed streaming options but said they would clarify distribution and notification to the public.
