During its Nov. 25 session the Morris Township board memorialized two resolutions approving separate land‑use applications.
Eslock Acquisitions LLC: Board attorney introduced a memorializing resolution for an Eslock Acquisitions application seeking preliminary and final major site plan and preliminary major subdivision approval for 13 single‑family homes on Lot 1, Block 5801 (commonly known as 9 Springbrook Road). The attorney said the board conditionally granted the application with multiple variances and many conditions: “There were several conditions in addition to our normal conditions. 37 conditions in all,” the attorney said. After brief comment the board moved and approved the resolution by roll call.
Shannon and Marshall Russo: The board also approved a memorializing resolution for Shannon and Marshall Russo for a one‑story addition to an existing nonconforming dwelling at 81 Chimney Ridge Drive. The board granted relief including side‑yard variances and expansion of a nonconforming structure, and added a special condition that an existing shed may remain in its current location but, if replaced, it must be relocated to a permitted area or the owner must return to the board for variance relief.
Both approvals were moved, seconded and passed by roll call. The board directed staff to prepare memorializing resolutions reflecting the conditions for inclusion on the record and for filing.
