Pennsauken honors longtime planning solicitor Frank Perulli with proclamation

The Pennsauken Township Committee on Dec. 19 presented a proclamation recognizing Frank Perulli for more than two decades of service advising local boards and drafting key development regulations.
The proclamation, read by the mayor, credited Perulli with serving as solicitor to the planning board, library board, school board and housing authority and with work on the township master plan, redevelopment strategies, stormwater management revisions and the township billboard ordinance. "Frank has continuously served in various vital roles, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen, strategic insight, and deep commitment to the betterment of the township," the proclamation said.
Perulli, who the committee said has been a Pennsauken resident since 1984, accepted the honor and thanked committee members, planning board colleagues and staff. "It's not just me — it's all the members of the planning board that have come before and all of the staff that have helped put together the planning board for Pennsauken," Perulli said.
Committee members joined in expressing appreciation. Mayor and other members noted Perulli's institutional knowledge and availability as an adviser on planning and zoning matters.
The presentation was delivered near the start of the public meeting and did not require formal action by the committee. The committee moved on to scheduled business after the recognition.
