West Windsor council approves slate of contracts and purchases including VESTA 911 system and roadside mower

The West Windsor Township Council approved a consent agenda on Nov. 25 that included contract releases, professional-service amendments and equipment purchases.

Resolutions 2024-R225 through 2024-R231 were presented as a package and approved by roll call. The package authorized, among other items, release of performance guarantees and remaining inspection escrow for the project identified as NASA Park Pavilion Gateway outparcel; a $2,900 increase to the Van Cleef Engineering Associates professional-services agreement (bringing that contract to a total not to exceed $5,400); a professional services agreement with Daniel Dobromilski & Associates for landscape and tree-expert services for $3,400; engineering services for remediation of the former West Windsor Township landfill compost facility for $12,940; the purchase of Microsoft Exchange licensing from SHI International Corp. under state contract; procurement of a Motorola Solutions VESTA 911 system under state contract; and purchase of one roadside mower from Cherry Valley Tractor Sales for $134,187.27.

Council member Andrea moved the bills-and-claims item and a second motion approved the consent slate; roll-call votes were recorded as affirmative for the members named in the meeting record and the motions were adopted.

What it means: The package contains routine municipal procurement and small professional-service amendments. Some items—such as the Motorola VESTA 911 system and the landfill remediation engineering—relate to public-safety and environmental management. The consent approvals will allow the administration to finalize purchases and execute the listed agreements.
