HPC meeting roundup: calendar, nominations and a school resolution approved

The Princeton Historic Preservation Commission handled routine administrative business at its Dec. 16 meeting before taking up a substantial application in the Jugtown Historic District.
The commission approved three Open Public Meetings Act documents — the 2025 meetings calendar, notice of special meetings and charges to subscribers — on a single motion moved by Tom and seconded by Roger and carried by voice vote. The chair then moved to appoint Bridal and Charlotte to the nominating committee; the appointment was seconded by Tom and recorded by roll call with affirmative votes from commissioners present.
The commission approved minutes for prior meetings (July 15 and Sept. 18, 2023) after confirming which members were present at those meetings and noting a minor correction to the September date entry. The commission also approved a resolution related to Princeton Nursery School, 78 Lee Avenue; that resolution had been circulated to members in advance and was carried after a motion and second.
These administrative approvals were completed before the commission spent the majority of the evening reviewing the King Interest LLC application at 338–342 Nassau Street. The meeting concluded with a brief staff report on an RFP and consultant selection, and adjournment.
