The Town Council approved multiple planning and design items at its Nov. 20 meeting.
At 160 La Gonitas Road the applicant sought design‑review approval for a new two‑story house with a detached garage, a pool and a front‑yard sports court enclosed with a 10‑foot glass wall and screened by hedges. Staff and the advisory design review group supported the design; the council voted to adopt the resolution approving the design review.
Separately, Public Works presented a design for replacement of three pedestrian bridges in Natalie Coffin Green Park. The project calls for prefabricated weathered‑steel bridge sections with natural wood decking to maintain a rustic character, and reuse of existing stone abutments where feasible. Advisory design review recommended approval and the council adopted the resolution unanimously.
Both actions were approved by roll call with aye votes from the full five‑member council.
