The applicant, identified in the petition as Rose Veneri, told the board she had mis-measured the structure and that the shed already in place is 8 by 20 rather than the 16 by 20 noted in her filing. She also said she had not obtained the required certified plot plan nor filed an express shed permit. The board reviewed options, including denying the petition (which could bar reapplication for two years), allowing withdrawal without prejudice so the applicant can secure a surveyor and refile, or reducing the structure to meet by‑right limits.
Veneri asked to withdraw without prejudice; the board voted to allow the withdrawal. The board emphasized that zoning enforcement or other violations would be handled by the town’s building/health departments, and advised the applicant to obtain a certified plot plan before returning.
