Jefferson County commissioners approve $1.48 million park contract, ARPA agreement and personnel actions; retiring commissioner acknowledged

The Jefferson County Commissioners Court on Thursday approved a slate of purchasing contracts and administrative items, authorized American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding agreements, and confirmed personnel actions while acknowledging Commissioner Eddie Arnold’s retirement.

The court voted to approve several purchasing items, including a contract with CRH company for Doggett Park Midway Rehabilitation in the amount of $1,482,042.80 and a contract extension for limestone base supply with Gulf Coast, a CRH company, for an additional 90 days to expire April 12, 2025.
