The board approved the Newline purchase for $690,915.54.
The board also approved purchase of Apple MacBook laptops for staff devices, a recommendation the technology director said followed pilot testing and evaluations; the motion carried and the MacBook purchase amount presented was $502,790.
Separately, staff explained that the CTE construction‑trades program acquired a trailer and lacked a district tow vehicle for sites. After reviewing bids, the board approved purchase of a 2024 Ford F‑150 Crew Cab from Jensen Ford for $48,000 (funded from PEPL), to transport students and haul equipment.
All three motions passed unanimously. Administrators said purchases are aligned with replacement cycles and program needs and that installations and logistics will follow.
