The Mukilteo School Board voted unanimously Dec. 10 to reorganize its leadership for the coming year, approve routine consent items and adopt a revision to the districts public‑records policy.
During the boards annual reorganization, a member nominated Judy Schwab to serve as board president; the nomination was moved, seconded and approved by the board in a roll call recorded as 5-0. The board then nominated and approved a vice president by the same margin.
The board also opened the meeting for public comment and reported no submitted cards. Members then voted to approve the consent agenda, which included the personnel addendum presented to the board.
Later in the evening, directors considered a motion to revise Board Policy 04/1940, "Public Access to District Records." The board discussed the proposed language briefly before calling the question; the revision passed by voice vote.
No contentious public testimony or motions were recorded on these items; the session proceeded to additional agenda items after the votes. The meeting adjourned following remaining business.
