Audit
Daniel Jones Associates presented the district's 2023–24 audit and issued an unmodified ("clean") opinion. The lead auditor told the board there were no findings and that the district appeared to be in compliance with state requirements and federal awards testing. "As mentioned, that there appear to be no issues to report," the auditor said. Following the presentation a motion to approve the audit passed on roll-call vote.

Personnel recommendations
On a single motion the board approved personnel agenda items 1 through 23 as presented. The board's roll-call recorded affirmative votes from Miss Henriques Pumblak, Mister Eaton, Doctor Allen, Mister Gordon, Miss Glover Jones and the chair.

Policy DID (inventory management)
The board conducted a second reading of policy DID, which requires the superintendent or designee to maintain a master inventory list, requires principals to keep current inventories for their schools, and sets procedures for scheduled maintenance and surplus disposition under state and federal law. The board adopted the policy on motion and voice vote.

Graduation date hold
Administration requested reserving the Chaifetz Arena dates for future commencement ceremonies; the board approved holding Saturday, June 25, 2027, as the tentative date and asked administration to confirm exact start times and logistics with the venue given traffic and scheduling concerns.

Consent agenda and closed session
The board approved consent agenda items 4.1–4.7 by roll call. At the end of the public meeting, a motion to reconvene in closed session under Missouri statute 610.021 to discuss a safety agenda item was made, seconded and approved; the chair announced a five-minute break before going into closed session.
