At its Sept. 3 meeting the Town of Concord Main Street Advisory Task Force took two formal actions.
Condolences for Carrie Flood: The task force read a memorial for vice chair Carrie Flood and adopted a motion "that the task force extend its condolences and its thanks for Carrie’s service on the task force and for so many other town bodies." The condolence motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Approval of minutes: The task force moved to accept the minutes of the Aug. 20 meeting and approved them by roll call. One member, Kurt Herman, abstained and said he was not present at the August 20 meeting.
No other formal votes on site acquisition or recommendations were taken during the meeting; the group discussed next steps on drafting recommendation language for a conditional acquisition but deferred any formal motion to a future meeting.
