At the start of the meeting the Economic Vitality Committee approved the July 17 minutes after a motion and second; one member said they were not present at the July 17 meeting and recorded an abstention. The chair welcomed a newly applied member who said they had completed their application and represented interests including Swarming and Silver Hills sales.
Committee members introduced themselves and reviewed subcommittee work. Staff reported that the town’s new business web page is now live on the Town of Concord website and that the communications subgroup will use the page and an email newsletter to increase public engagement. The public art bench project and several fall events were also described; staff noted a series of trainings and possible small grants to support farm stands and seasonal businesses.
A motion to adjourn was made after quorum was lost and the meeting concluded. No additional formal votes or ordinances were taken.
