Lisonbee Eubanks provided an update on the Course Guide work group, thanking colleagues for work on transitioning course codes into the new MSIS 2 system and announcing the team will replace the existing course code catalog with a searchable dashboard.
Eubanks said the dashboard will display course code catalog entries, endorsements and search tools that mirror current catalog functionality and that guidance on using the dashboard will be published as the tool is phased in. "On this page, we're going to be adding the dashboards," Eubanks said, and noted Deborah Donovan will add the dashboard content soon.
Why it matters: The searchable dashboard is intended to make course and endorsement information easier to find for districts and educators and to reflect the new MSIS 2 data model. The work group emphasized a cooperative approach to maintain accuracy and responsiveness to common district questions.
The committee accepted the report as informational; no formal votes were taken on course‑guide policy during the meeting. The full meeting concluded after routine approvals and an adjournment motion.
