The board approved "Evergreen Water Sewer ARPA reimbursement number 3, Evergreen Water Well Relocation and Monitor Well Project," with staff citing approximately $64,230.02 in county reimbursement and small matching amounts from DNRC. A commissioner moved for approval and the board carried the motion by voice vote.
Commissioners also authorized publication of notices for several public hearings scheduled for March 4: a Schaefer zone change in the Evergreen Zoning District (seeking an R‑2 to R‑5 change), a Weil zone change in the Bigfork Zoning District (395 Ferndale Drive, SAG‑5 to R‑2.5), and text additions and amendments to the county land‑use regulatory system. Each item was moved, seconded and adopted by voice vote.
The actions keep routine land‑use items on schedule for public review and mark the county’s next formal opportunity for public input on the Evergreen and Bigfork proposals. No substantive debate occurred during the motions; commissioners indicated the hearings will allow community members and affected property owners to comment before any final decisions are made.
