She also described typical staffing churn (substitutes used while positions are filled) and confirmed staff outreach to River Falls and Century education programs when recruiting.
Bell-time change implications: Board members and staff discussed consequences of later elementary dismissal times under the new calendar: afternoon childcare demand is expected to increase, and the district is exploring partnering with the high school for a work‑release/credit program to staff Adventure Club roles.
