Cherry said the paraeducator package totals approximately $4.5 million in new compensation funds. The board approved the agreement 6‑0.
Cherry also presented a two‑year agreement with the district’s Education Office Professionals Association (7/1/2024–6/30/2026) that modified step schedules, increased starting pay for entry‑level secretaries (reported in the meeting as an increase to roughly $19.05/hr), included benefit contribution increases, and removed certain caps on district benefits; the board approved that agreement 6‑0 as well.
