The City of Summerset Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval of a minor plat involving a land swap between properties owned by Stan Jones and a Mr. Washington.
A city staff member told the commission, "We received a minor plat from a mister Jones," and displayed the proposed lot lines, saying the exchange was driven by terrain at the site. The staff member said HDR Engineering reviewed the proposal and that Baseline prepared the final MILR; "there was nothing that needs to be addressed," the staff member added.
Commissioners discussed the proposal briefly and noted no structures are proposed on the parcels, so no changes to drainage or related infrastructure are required for the plat endorsement. The commission voted on a motion to recommend the minor plat to the Board of Commissioners; the motion passed on a voice vote.
The Board of Commissioners will consider the commission's recommendation before the plat can be recorded.
