Britney said the venue lacks a freezer (a small chest freezer was purchased after the first event) and that many initial users treated the space like a church-hall model where groups did their own clean-up. She said feedback has been positive and that marketing will focus on wedding-ready photography and social media; she also said the city's chamber and local businesses could help promote the facility.
Council and staff discussed potential fee schedules for nonprofits and community groups, deposit requirements to protect against damage, and the feasibility of offering discounted rates for local organizations. Britney said she will include such items for future policy consideration.
