The Mulberry City Council completed the second reading and approved Supplemental Appropriation Ordinance 2403. Heather told the council there were a couple of minor changes since the first reading: a $5,000 decrease in the police department line and a $400 increase in events, leaving a net decrease of a little under $5,000 to total appropriations.

The presiding officer asked for a motion and the council approved the second reading by roll call. No public comments or further amendments were offered during the session.

The ordinance advances the supplemental adjustments as described in the council packet; staff will incorporate the changes into the city’s financial records and publish the ordinance as adopted.
