Commissioners asked about ownership and potential cost-sharing with Lincoln County for the portion of work adjacent to the county justice facility; the staff summary said county contributions had been considered in the SRF-resolved project budget (total project cost discussed as roughly $4.5 million in materials presented to the commission).
The motion to accept the final design proposal was seconded and approved by roll call. Staff said easement negotiation and detailed design will continue and that starting design now positions the city to meet the target opening of the justice facility in late 2026.
