Speaker 8 (finance/budget staff) told the council staff is reviewing departmental submissions and that a line-by-line review will be part of upcoming budget hearings.
Council members discussed community notification and a government mobile app as part of outreach during the budget process. They asked staff to investigate options such as "1Call" or CodeRed-like services and to present recommendations in the budget agenda.
