The Yankton City Commission on Nov. 12 adopted the 2025 fiscal-year budget and approved a package of routine purchases, contract awards and project change orders.
By roll call, the commission approved Resolution 204-55 adopting the 2025 budget and directed the city manager to administer it in accordance with state law. Commissioners Benson, Brunick, Sarta, Hanoff, Minor, Mosher, Villanueva and Weber voted yes; Mayor Mason Schrom cast the affirmative mayoral vote.
The commission also approved Resolution 204-56 to implement the routine equipment and vehicle replacement program for 2025.
