The Yankton City Commission approved multiple alcohol-license items during its July 8 meeting, including new malt-beverage and South Dakota farm-wine licenses and a transfer of a retail liquor license.
The commission approved a new retail on-off sale malt beverage and South Dakota farm wine license for Cedar Street Brews, Inc., dba The Copper Room (agenda packet shows the license effective July 10, 2024). The commission also approved the transfer of a retail on-sale liquor license from Benz Brewing Company to Cedar Street Brews; the packet lists Josh Blom as president. Additionally, the commission approved two items involving Riverfront Brewery (separate packet entries), each for a new malt-beverage and farm-wine license for the periods shown in the packet. Each item was moved, seconded and approved on roll call with unanimous recorded votes.
All license motions were approved by recorded roll-call votes; no public comments on these items were recorded at the meeting.
