Commission approves 50% tuition reimbursement for Lt. Robert Zawich

Chief Walsh told the commission the paperwork was in order and that Zawich received an A for the course. The chief also said Zawich had previously received departmental approval for the courses at the Aug. 21, 2023 commission meeting.
Commissioners commended the department’s culture of advanced education among officers before the commission voted to approve the reimbursement. The motion carried unanimously; no roll call votes by name were recorded in the transcript.
