Sudbury receives MBTA compliance certificate; planning staff to prepare concise Town Meeting materials

Staff said they will prepare a minimal Town Meeting presentation—one slide summarizing the Affordable Homes Act requirements and one slide showing where the existing proposed bylaw may conflict with the statute and how the town proposes to proceed. Staff also reported that final staff comments are in and that the matter is currently with consultant Horsley Whitten; once the consultant replies, the applicant (Mr. Duderian, as referenced) will receive notice.
No formal vote was taken on the MBTA compliance certificate during the meeting; the announcement was delivered as an administrative report item and the board discussed next steps for public hearings and town-meeting outreach.
