Unidentified Speaker (S2), who opened and summarized the hearing, said the revisions are intended to align Brookfield’s charges with neighboring towns and to correct undercharging for some town services. An unidentified resident asked whether the changes were to match other towns or to recoup lost revenue; S2 said alignment with other towns was the purpose. No public participants objected when the board called for input.
After public input was closed, S2 moved to accept the fees as presented, the motion was seconded and the board closed the hearing.
