Manor council accepts FY2023 audit; auditors deliver clean opinion

The Manor City Council voted to accept the City of Manor’s annual financial report and independent auditors’ report for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2023. Jeremy Myers, audit partner with Atchley & Associates, told the council the audit contained an unmodified (clean) opinion.
Myers summarized that the audit in the agenda packet is an unmodified opinion and that auditors had met with city leadership prior to the meeting to review the results. Council moved to accept the report; the motion was seconded and passed with no recorded dissent.
Accepting the auditors’ report concludes the formal FY2023 audit acceptance step; staff will file and post the audit report as required by policy and state law.
