Council approves Lennar license agreement for force main to serve roughly 1,000‑home development

The Manor City Council approved a license agreement that allows Lennar Homes and related entities to place a wastewater force main within City of Manor right‑of‑way to connect to Austin water infrastructure.
Ryan Lamar of Acquidity Engineering, the project engineer, said the force main would run from an Austin water force main through city property and down Trotta Boulevard to connect with Austin infrastructure. The license agreement permits utility work and future dedication to the City of Austin after construction.
Mia Serrato representing Lennar Homes told the council the proposal would yield approximately "a thousand homes built in our phase" and that the construction will support both single‑family residential builds and nearby light‑industrial projects. On timing, Serrato said the earliest move‑ins were targeted for late 2026, but that design and permit processes — including a lift station design and approvals from Austin and Travis County — take time.
Council moved to approve the license agreement and authorized the city manager to execute it.
