Speaker 4 reported issuing a permit to Jake Bates at 185 Goodyear Road to drill a well and a permit to Reinhardt at 60 Tracy Drive to install 14 rooftop solar panels. Occupancy and building permits were issued for repairs and new construction at multiple addresses, including a two‑story single‑family dwelling and roofing work. Jan Hagg purchased the Miller property at 255 Whitechurch Road; Speaker 4 said Hagg plans to modify the existing plan, remove a fence along the road, build a stone driveway, install a septic system, and eventually construct a building similar in size to the existing structure in phased stages over five to 10 years. The speaker said the plan was intended to allow use of completed phases as work continues.
Speaker 4 also described a prospective buyer for a brick schoolhouse on Mud Run Road who would like to preserve the schoolhouse and construct a livable house with water and sewer on the parcel, noting that the existing schoolhouse currently lacks water and sewer.
The engineer and planning staff continue to review submitted plans; board action deadlines were noted for upcoming plan reviews.
