Resident presses township over missing right-to-know request and video records; staff says an item was missed

A member of the public asked the Huntington Township supervisors why a right-to-know (RTK) request attributed to Cody Lear for the period June through Sept. 13 had not been provided to her as part of an earlier records request.
Speaker 9 said she submitted RTK requests (Aug. 9 and Sept. 13) and did not receive Cody Lear’s request for the June–Sept. 13 period as part of the records provided. Speaker 2 acknowledged the item had been missed in processing and said she would provide the requested materials and suggested the resident submit a written request if further clarification was needed. The resident said she had been given a 30-day extension previously and later received a 1 minute, 27 second grainy video rather than the full meeting recording she expected; she questioned whether video had been deleted or edited and said she might pursue an appeal if the record provided was incomplete.
Township staff said they would follow up and supply the missing RTK materials; the board discussed procedural options for inspections and extensions but did not make a formal determination about the video file’s completeness during the meeting.
