Gus Greenwald reported issuing letters of waiver and building permits for several property owners: Ed Keller (siding), Ethan Yoder (new roof), Karen Keckler (window and door replacements). He said Blue Mountain Trim (Dave Lickenburger) received a building permit to construct roofs over two small sheds and a 20-by-30 office extension, and Joe Sanders received a permit to install about 30 rooftop solar panels. A permit was issued for a two-story, 2,285-square-foot single-family house from Darman Builders at 1143 Tammy Drive; a well permit was issued for a resident needing a new well. Greenwald also summarized a zoning hearing that granted a small dimensional variance because an existing building fell short of a 100-foot road setback by roughly 2½ to 4½ feet.
Engineer Scott reported that the Greenbrier railroad replacement structure has been delivered and that contractor work has begun. The Myersville Road culvert design is nearly complete with plans to submit the permit application and an anticipated bid date near March 1. The Rolling Road culvert permit was submitted four weeks earlier and the township is awaiting DEP comments. Scott also said the JBI Ridge land development plan is still under review; its most recent extension expires Feb. 6, 2025.
