The Richmond Town Council on Monday moved through a large package of license renewals, approving Class A retail liquor permits for Wyoming Package Store (NRP Inc., 1199 Main Street) and Richmond Wine and Liquors (Tony Albano Pello LLC, 5 Stilson Road) and dozens of Class B victualer and holiday licenses across town.
Council members opened public hearings for the applications, heard no substantive opposition and voted to approve the complete applications subject to standard conditions — including certificate of good standing, fire inspection where required, and payment of advertising or license fees. The approvals included restaurants and bars such as Dragon Palace (1210 Main Street), Wood River Bar & Grill (1139 Main Street), Ilana’s Coffee House (93 Kingstowne Road) and multiple Dunkin’ franchise locations; the council also approved additional-hours licenses for convenience stores and quick-service restaurants.
The council advanced holiday license renewals earlier in the meeting to allow businesses to proceed with their evenings, then approved a long list of vendors, many conditioned on Department of Health permits for food-service operations. Council members emphasized that some approvals were contingent on paperwork and inspections being completed.

Council members who moved and seconded the motions recorded no substantive objections during the public hearings; roll-call tallies were recorded verbally as a series of “Aye” votes during the meeting.
The council’s action clears the way for many Richmond businesses to continue or extend operations this season, provided they meet the conditions attached to the motions. The council moved quickly through the business; several members thanked the town clerk and staff for assembling the renewal packages.
