ConVal chamber choir and teachers showcase student programming ahead of winter concert

The Contoocook Valley School District board meeting opened with a performance by the Connell High School chamber choir. Teachers Becca McLean (art teacher, SMS) and Christina Weston (sixth‑grade special‑education teacher, SMS) briefed the board on school highlights: the robotics team earned a state championship spot, Special Olympics athletes will travel to Waterville Valley in March and UNH in June, and the SMS library hosted a virtual author session. The teachers distributed a document summarizing staff activities and programs.
Board members thanked the students and staff for the presentations and encouraged attendance at the student concert.
