The Contoocook Valley School District board voted Dec. 17 to authorize the board chair to sign a regional CTE agreement that the district’s CTE director said is largely unchanged from the previous agreement but now renews every four years to align with Perkins local‑plan cycles.
CTE Director Jen explained that ConVal, Conant and Messenic remain part of the regional arrangement and that all three sites are classified as sending and receiving locations; Peterborough was identified in the discussion as the primary center with other sites functioning as satellites. Jen told the board that applications for renovation under the regional program had been submitted and accepted and that the new agreement would not affect those applications.
The board moved and seconded a motion to authorize the board chair to sign the regional agreement; the motion carried by voice vote. The authorization allows the district to continue participating in regional Perkins‑funded programming and to support capital applications on eligible sites.
